
Normalcy is slowly returning in Tanzania after the chaotic general election, with the authorities partially lifting restrictions, including an internet blackout and a curfew in the country. Members of the public have however been cautioned against sharing election-related images that could cause panic in the country. A report by the Southern African Development Community (SADC) electoral observation mission has pointed to massive irregularities in the election, saying some of its officers were forced to delete critical mission-related photographs.
